Job Summary

South African National Energy Development Institute (SANEDI) is recruiting for the Communication and Stakeholder Engagement internship opportunity.

Closing date: 08 Feruary 2024

Period: 24 – 36 Month period; subject to 6 monthly performance evaluations and a 3-month probation period


Provide working life skills and work readiness (Basic Business, and Working Life Skills Training) through formal mentorship/internship. Provide workplace experience, allowing practical exposure to complement academic training to enhancing employability.

Qualification and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, Diploma in communications, Public Relation, Journalism, or related field.
  • Verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Public speaking skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.


The South African National Energy Development Institute (SANEDI) is an agency of the Department of Minerals Resources and Energy.

SANEDI exists to direct, monitor and conduct applied energy research and development, demonstration and deployment of specific measures to promote the uptake of Low Carbon Energy and Energy Efficiency in South Africa.
