Afrimat Management Services has a vacancy for a: IT Intern (12 – month contract)

The candidates must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness.

The group supplies a broad range of products ranging from Construction Materials (aggregates, bricks, blocks, pavers and readymix concrete), Industrial Minerals (lime and lime products), and Bulk Commodities (iron ore, anthracite and manganese).

  • Based in Worcester (Required)
  • Grade 12 (Required)
  • Code 8 driver’s license – must be willing to travel to various operations (Required)
  • Own car (advantageous)

  • Shows a keen interest in computers and networks, and a willingness to progress in the field.
  • Administrative skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to be trained
  • The candidate must be medically fit in terms the Mine Health and Safety Act.


The bursaries are applicable to candidates intending to register or be registered for the academic year 2024 in one of the stated fields above.

Should the candidate be provisionally selected for this bursary and not meet the required average, they will then forfeit the bursary.

Currently enrolled students for any of the above-mentioned fields of study, must attach certified satisfaction academic record in their last study year (study level) with an average of at least 60%
