This is a 12 month contract and will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

About the Graduate Trainee Programme
As a Graduate at Munich Re of Africa, you will be expected to:
- Take part in Soft Skills and Technical training
- Contribute to all analyses and review tasks performed to satisfy the requirements of the Risk Function.
- Contribute to the quality assurance of the Internal Control System (ICS)
- Contribute to the reporting of risk-related topics within the Company to fulfil the disclosure responsibilities under SAM
- May present to and train staff members on risk-related topics, including fulfilling a role as risk consultant to the business.
- Support business to further develop the Company risk culture
- Collection of relevant information for risk monitoring, including updating of the risk event log, measures etc.
- Support the team on latest risk management, business continuity management and information-security management tasks and deliverables.
- Review risk management policies and guidelines and assessing the appropriateness thereof.
- Help organise and conduct workshops for internal stakeholders.
- Participate in team specific tasks and deliverables as required
Qualifications
- BCom Economics, Risk and Investment management.
- An excellent academic record (Average above 65%).
- 1-2 years’ work experience in enterprise risk management would be beneficial.
- Driven and passionate individual.
- Report writing and documentation skills.
- The ability to analyse and interpret risk management information.
- Make decisions and work towards meeting deadlines.
- The ability to support and co-ordinate projects; and
- The ability to work under pressure.
