ARM mines and beneficiates iron ore, manganese ore, chrome ore, platinum group metals (PGMs), nickel and coal and also has a strategic investment in gold through Harmony Gold Mining Company (Harmony).

ARM is offering bursaries to current University of Pretoria students who have completed their first, second, or third year with a sound academic record.

What the ARM Bursary covers

The bursary will cover the following:

  • Registration
  • Tuition fees for the duration of the course
  • Accommodation i.e. official institution residence
  • Data Allowance (where applicable/ necessary)
  • Laptop
  • Meals
  • Textbooks

Bursary Terms and Conditions

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Potential candidates may be required to undergo a panel interview and psychometric assessments for selection purposes
  • Applicants already receiving a bursary will not be considered
  • ARM will not be responsible for any fees incurred prior to the bursary being granted.

How to Apply

What applicants must submit

  • Valid & Certified South African ID
  • Certified Copy of the Grade 12 certificate
  • Academic records from the University
  • University acceptance letter

Note: In the event that you do not hear from the Company 21 days after the closing date, your application shall be considered as unsuccessful.

  • Katlego Malope

    Katlego is a final-year student at the University of Johannesburg. Apart from bouncing molecules against each other in the Chemistry lab, she loves curating job opportunites for fellow youth. Katlego is also quite a singer!
