Forvia South Africa is recruiting recent diploma or degreee graduates for the IT Technician Traineeship opportunity for 2024.

Location: Pretoria, South Africa

Main purpose of the role

The IT Technician Graduate is responsible for assisting in diagnosing computer problems, monitoring computer processing systems, installing software and performing tests on computer equipment and programs.

Essential responsibilities and duties

As a IT Technician Graduate, your main responsibilities are as follow :

  • Assist the IT Site Coordinator in all his duties.
  • Monitor and maintain technology to ensure maximum access
  • Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software.
  • Perform other related duties as required during working hours.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education :
    • A+ certification & N+ certification
    • Higher certification, National diploma/ Bachelor’s degree (advantageous) in Computer Science, Information Technology / Computer Information Systems from an accredited institution.

  • Knowledge and experience :
    • Strong knowledge of hardware and software computer programmes.
    • Familiarity with electronic equipment, Internet applications and security may also be required.
    • Good communication skills as this position requires frequent interaction with clients.
    • Own transport
    • Position requires Shifts and Overtime
  • Languages: Excellent communication skills ( English mandatory)
