Afrimat’s Cape Lime Robertson has a vacancy for a: People Management Internship (2 year fixed term contract).

The group supplies a broad range of products ranging from Construction Materials (aggregates, bricks, blocks, pavers and readymix concrete), Industrial Minerals (lime and lime products), and Bulk Commodities (iron ore, anthracite and manganese).

As part of Afrimat’s diversification strategy, we are constantly looking for more opportunities to grow our product offering.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful person will be:

  • Receive exposure in all aspects of People Management.
  • Assist People Manager and Mine Manager with all People Management functions and duties.
  • Assist with value adding people management projects.
  • Compile People Management analytical information.
  • Assist with People Management reporting function.

Qualifications

  • Human Resource Management qualification/degree (Essential)
  • Driver’s license (Essential)
  • Own vehicle (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly analytical and action orientated
  • Resourceful organiser
  • Strong administration skills
