About the PG Bursary Scheme 2024

The PG Group Bursary Programme includes a financial support as well as developmental support throughout the programme. Bursaries are awarded for full-time university studies in engineering.

Once students have successfully completed their qualication, they may be employed by PG Group through the Graduate Programme.

What does the bursary include?

  • Accommodation (University resident rates)
  • Stationary and prescribed books

Bursary Study Fields

What we are funding: Bursary will be awarded to applicants who want to pursue a career in the following

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering, and
  • Electronics Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

What we are looking for:

  1. For candidates who are already in their first year studying towards a Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering who have a 70% average in Matric and a 65% average in their first academic year.

The following is important to note:

  • Bursaries are awarded for standard degree over a minimum period of time.
  • Students must be full time students at a recognised SouthAfrican University.
  • Students applying for the Bursary through an Open Distance Learning Institution will not be considered.

  • In a case where incorrect or misleading information is provided during the application process, the bursary offer will be withdrawn or terminated with immediate action.

NB: applications without the requested documents will not be considered. Applications from non-South African citizens will not be considered.
