Woolworths Food Group is rceruiting for a 12-month Graduate opportunity.

As a dynamic team player, you will contribute to our mission by leveraging your expertise in the following areas:
Qualifications and Knowledge
Possess a BSC in Chemistry qualification. Experience would be in your advantage in the Chemistry, Detergent, or relevant industry.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of product composition, functionality, and the manufacturing processes. Proven track record in product development and innovation for formulated chemistry products such as detergents.
Additional training or short courses in Quality Management is highly desirable. Ability to ensure consistent quality standards across products, understanding and implementing quality control measures.
Skills and Competencies
Exhibit deep technical knowledge of product characteristics, raw material sourcing, research and development, manufacturing processes, application methods, and adherence to quality and safety parameters.
Understanding of packaging functionality and its significance in product presentation, product stability, and usability.
Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality or efficiency.
Comfortable working within a cross-functional matrix team and multi-disciplinary project teams. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and expertise.
Possess a proactive approach to problem identification and resolution. Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues and implement effective solutions in collaboration with suppliers and team members.
Assertive communication skills are essential, enabling effective collaboration and interaction with stakeholders at all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders.
Strong administrative skills, including the ability to compile comprehensive reports and documentation accurately and efficiently.
Foster a culture of quality and innovation, constantly seeking opportunities for improvement and differentiation in product offerings.
Conduct comparative benchmarking against competitor products to identify areas for improvement and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pressurized environment while continuously learning on the job to adapt to the diverse range of products within the category.
