Job Purpose
We are looking for an agent intern x7 posts. Candidates MUST have a valid driver’s license and their own reliable car. They must also have their own devices (mobile and laptop).

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect information about properties (lead generation)
- Canvas properties to sell
- Arrange for photography and home staging
- Visit sellers and must be able to talk knowledgably about their property and area
- Valuation – able to apply sound principles when estimating the value of a property
- Organise and attend show days
- Able to put together a marketing plan for a property
- Represent the seller in negotiations with potential buyers
- Monitor sales and liaise with all stakeholders including mortgage brokers, conveyancers and other estate agents
- Able to knowledgably advise sellers and buyers
- Keep up to date with trends in the local residential property market as well as the general market
Education
- Matric required
There are several requirements that need to be fulfilled in order to obtain a Real Estate Qualification:
- Register with the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA)
- Obtain Candidate Estate Agent Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC)
- Complete accredited NQF 4 qualification
- Compile a Logbook
- Write the PDE Exam

- Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills;
- Pleasant and trustworthy;
- Strong organisational skills, as you may be dealing with more than one property at a time;
- Willingness to take on responsibility, as estate agents will likely be afforded a great deal of responsibility early on;
- Willingness to travel and spend time out of the office; a full driving licence is typically required;
- Understanding of, and interest in, the local property market and the process of buying.
