Requirements
Grade 12 certificate. Computer Literacy. Undergo 21 days data capture training.
The curriculum for the course (both theory and practical) is in such a manner that it leads to the personal and professional development of a data capture so that, on completion of the course he/she should perform duties as below:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure patient’s records and files are properly kept and secured;
- Reconcile patients records with various registers;
- Ensure ongoing data capturing from patient records in to the database with high standards of accuracy;
- Identify, resolve or query missing data and errors observed during data entry, electronic checks or manual review;
- Report missing data and errors to the manager at the facility;
- Review and validate all data from the patient records to ensure all data is correct, complete and logical;
- Communicate and distribute data to the facility.
