Apprenticeships at AECI

AECI is recruiting for various apprenticeships at sites in South Africa. The duties and roles of the apprentices will include the following:

  • Perform Schedule/Preventative maintenance tasks to minimize plant downtime.
  • Do improvements, new installations and.modifications to plant & equipment.
  • Do general machining work in a typical workshop environment Respond to machinery breakdowns
  • Ensure safe operation of plant & equipment. Perform general housekeeping tasks.

Electrical Apprenticeship

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with Maths and science
  • N3 engineering science, maths, electrical trade theory, industrial electronics /electrotechnology.
  • Applicants must be unemployed, between the age of 18 and 35

Instrumentation Apprenticeship

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with Maths, engineering science, industrial electronics, English, instrument trade theory.
  • Applicants must be unemployed, between the age of 18 and 35
