The Marketing and Communications Intern will play a vital role in supporting Futurelect’s communications and marketing efforts.
Under the guidance of the team, an intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing and communication strategies, including content creation, social media management, and campaign development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to liaise with Fellows and other stakeholders when needed;
- Ability to provide insights and contribute towards programme conceptualisation and roll-out;
- Assist in the management of all stakeholder relationships;
- Thoroughness and accuracy in all tasks – including monitoring and checking work and information, planning, and organising time and resources efficiently;
- Manage paperwork and filing and ensure documents are appropriately shared and stored in Google Drive.
- Organise the social media assets received from our agency on the drive;
- Monitor contacts made on social media platforms, respond to frequently asked questions (FAQs), and escalate relevant queries as needed;
- Assist with creating ways on campaigns and social media campaigns so that Futurelect is always present on social media.
- Capacity to respond to queries and requests pertaining to Website.
- Able to upload content onto the LMS and Website on demand including new press/media releases, newsletters, etc. (keep the website as alive and moving as possible)
- Engage with the website users and LMS users (and then liaise with Marketing and Communications Director, Programmes teams if need be).
- Ability to assist with rolling updates on the Learning Management System across Futurelect’s programmatic areas.
- Ability to assist with online civic programme content (ie. Updating content for Online users on LMS, and assisting with filming for TikTok where applicable)
- Aid in updating the Futurelect App and website through the CMS to reflect current information and enhance user experience.
Qualifications
Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or any related field.
