LOCATION FOR PLACEMENT: Makhado Local Municipality

Makhado Local Municipality is hereby requesting unemployed learners in position of completed Grade 12, minimum of N2 with trade theory or NCV Level 4 to submit acquired report or certificate in the following field of study:

Makhado Municipality in partnership with MMSEZ is offering skills development initiatives aimed at preparing unemployed youth for employment by providing an opportunity to acquire learnership & apprenticeship programmes.

Applications are invited from currently unemployed youth residing within Makhado Municipal area seeking for learnership or apprenticeship opportunities.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?

• South African citizens who are permanent residents within Makhado Municipality area may apply.
• Applicants must be in possession of minimum requirements as stated above.
• Applicants should not have previously participated in any internship programme.
• Applicants must be in between 18 – 34 years old.

DURATION

The duration of learning opportunities is 36 months (3 Years) as mentioned above. Please note that this learning opportunities programme is not a permanent offer of employment, but an opportunity to acquire skills development initiatives in order to enter into labour market or become self-employed.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicant must specify the position applied for, accompanied by comprehensive curriculum vitae, and certified copies of original report or certificates and a copy of SA ID document (Smart IDs to be copied on both sides).

Clear criminal record and Proof of Residence. The certifying stamp must not be older than 3 months.
Note: Appointment is subject to security clearance, verification of qualifications, and signing of a learnership agreement / apprenticeship contract.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interview. If no response received from Makhado Municipality within 45 days after the closing date; it must be regarded that your application has been unsuccessful.
