Sibanye-Stillwater is calling all qualified electricians from mining areas in South Africa! You are invited to apply for the Sibanye-Stillwater Solar Entrepreneurship Programme.

Location: Kloof, Driefontein, Beatrix, Burnstone, Rustenburg, Kroondal, Marikana or Brakpan (Precious Metal Refinery)
Who should apply?
Are you a qualified electrician with a CIPC registered SMME (Small, medium, macro enterprise)? Or do you own a registered business offering electrical or electrical engineering services?
Do you want to expand your offering to include solar solutions? Then our comprehensive six-month solar installer training programme could be for you!
Selection criteria
- Minimum criteria required to apply (both requirements are essential to qualify):
- Have the required electrical engineering qualification/s and experience
- Reside within one of our Sibanye-Stillwater communities (i.e. a community within a local or metropolitan municipality adjacent to the mining area) at Kloof, Driefontein, Beatrix, Burnstone, Rustenburg, Kroondal, Marikana or Brakpan (Precious Metal Refinery)
Preference will be given to:
- 100% black-owned businesses
- 100% black woman-owned businesses
- 100% black youth-owned businesses
- If the owner of the company is not the holder of the qualification, proof of employment must be attached to the application
