Job Purpose
The Purpose of this role is to execute the deposition plan by planning activities, organizing resources, delegating tasks, leading people and controlling risks and deviations to ensure the successful achievement of the deposition plan.

Duties and Responsibilities
Planning
- Select the right equipment for the job
- Ensure that there are enough stock quantities
- Ensure appropriate emergency equipment is available
- Deposition-location, duration
Execute Tailings Dam activities
- Operate the penstock inlet
- Maintain beam walls
- Construct catwalk and platform
- Mechanically lift catchment paddocks/ perimeter wall
- Phreatic surface (piezometric levels)
- Clean solution trenches
- Monitor the flow of underdrains
- Monitor the flow of slurry
- Dress the walls
Leading
- Train, coach and motivate the team
- Communicate effectively with the team and superiors
- Make employees aware of hazards and risks
- Apply discipline
- Attend to employees grievances
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Skills program in Slimes Reclamation or Tailings Dam Operation
Experience
- 2 Years previous experience as a General Worker
