Job Summary

The Culture, Art, Tourism, Hospitality, and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority (CATHSSETA) is recruiting for the CATHSSETA Internship Programme 2024/ 2025.

About CATHSSETA

CATHSSETA is one of the 21 SETAs established under the Skills Development Act in 2001. Its mandate is to facilitate skills development within their sub-sectors through the disbursement of grants for learning programmes and monitoring of education and training as outlined in the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS).

An internship is a programme designed to give university and university of technology graduates/learners an opportunity to extend their academic qualifications with structured workplace exposure and specialised training.

Participants are offered a full-time placement in a company or government department, the purpose of which is to provide the learner with workplace experience that builds on the qualification.

Available internships at CATHSSETA

The interns will receive a monthly stipend of R 5 600. 00. Kindly note that there is no guarantee of placement beyond the internship contract term.
