Durban ICC SOC (Ltd) is the managing company for the Inkosi Albert Luthuli ICC Complex, which includes
the International Convention Centre Durban (ICC), the ICC Exhibition Centre and the ICC Arena.

Leading Conference Centre by World Travel Awards for 18 years.
STUDENT PROGRAMME – SECURITY & RISK MANAGEMENT STUDENT
TWELVE (12) MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT
STIPEND R3, 500.00 PER MONTH

The Durban ICC is calling for a suitable candidate to apply for the position of Security and Risk Management Student.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for data capturing, filing and other security / risk and office administration duties within the Durban ICC. The incumbent will report directly to Security Risk Manager or nominated representative.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Matric (Grade 12)
Knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements
Full-time student studying towards Safety & Security / Risk Management or an equivalent qualification who requires workplace experience to graduate.

KEY PERFORMANCE / MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE
Detailed risk assessments for every program
First aid equipment and first aid trained staff available at every program
Thorough incident management plans
Clearly displayed evacuation and emergency information
On site security measures
Assist in entering, cleaning, updating, and maintaining data and associated databases
ISO compliance adhered to on a daily basis, including document control thereof
Make follow ups with service providers and user departments
Assist with all projects within the department
Raise requisitions on JDE
Assist with closing of ISO audit findings
Assist with evaluating of contractors bids and drafting of evaluation report
Assist with drafting of RFQs on company template and circulate for approvals
Assist with drafting of SLAs
Assist with contractor control (safety files and inductions)
