- Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing research findings to identify trends, patterns, and emerging threats to civil society. The officer will produce reports and briefs that distill complex information into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Working closely with other team members, including policy experts and advocacy officers, to integrate research findings into CIVICUS’s broader strategic initiatives. This collaborative approach ensures that research is relevant and impactful.
- Communication and Outreach: Facilitating the dissemination of research findings to wider audiences, including civil society groups, policymakers, and the media. The officer may also engage in public speaking and presentations to share insights on civic space challenges and opportunities.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of CIVICUS’s civic space programs, providing feedback and recommendations to improve effectiveness and responsiveness.
