Applications are open for the Environmental Assessment Practitioner/ Consultant vacancy at Global Geo Enviro Specialists.
Closing Date: 26 October 2024
- OFFICE LOCATION : Pretoria Eost (Silyerlakes)
- CONTRACT DURATION : 6 months’ Probation then Permanent Contract depending on performance.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc/Btech or Honours degree in Environmental Management or related field.
- Registered as Professional with the relevant Professional Council or registered as Candidate and eligible to register as Professional within 12 months from date of signing the agreement. (EAPASA. SACNASP registration)
- Experience in Environmental Impact Assessments. Basic Assessments, Environmental Compliance and Auditing, Water Use license applications and Public Participation.
- Knowledge of relevant Environmental Policies/ Legislation.
- Additional Knowledge and Qualifications in Geotechnical Investigations is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, travel to site and meet own deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office. GIS skills as well as Google Earth knowledge.
- Strong writing and Communication skills as well as Grammatical proficiency.
- Valid drivers’ license.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the relevant profession.
