📌 Current Administrative Vacancies
UNEP is seeking qualified candidates for administrative roles in the following locations:
1. Administrative Assistant – Nairobi, Kenya
- Grade: G-6 (General Service)
- Closing Date: April 4, 2025
- Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support, including document preparation, record-keeping, and correspondence handling. Assist in personnel administration, recruitment processes, onboarding, and training coordination. Manage procurement procedures, maintain vendor relationships, and support contract management.
- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in administrative services, human resources management, or a related field. Experience with Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), such as PeopleSoft or ERP systems, is required.
2. Senior Administrative Assistant – Nairobi, Kenya
- Grade: P-2 (Professional)
- Closing Date: April 4, 2025
- Responsibilities: Provide high-level administrative support to senior officials. Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and handle confidential information. Oversee office logistics and ensure efficient workflow.
- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ten (10) years of experience in human resources and administrative services. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is required.
3. Administrative Assistant – Climate Change Division, Nairobi, Kenya
- Grade: G-6 (General Service)
- Closing Date: April 1, 2025
- Responsibilities: Support the Climate Change Division in administrative tasks related to program management and administration. Assist in organizing meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in administrative services, human resources management, or a related field. Experience with Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), such as PeopleSoft or ERP systems, is required. (UN NGO Jobs)
