Mulilo Renewable Energy invites applicatons for the Bursary Programme 2025

The Mulilo Bursary Fund provides financial assistance to South African citizens resident in the Northern Cape and covers all disciplines and sectors of study at any tertiary institution in the country including universities, Technicons and TVET Colleges.
This is an inclusive bursary programme, accepting applications from new as well as past Matriculants. The only provision being that bursary recipients are under age 35 when they apply.
What the Bursary Covers
The Bursary includes tuition, accommodation, textbook allowance and a monthly stipend for the duration of successful studies.
Since inception almost five years ago the programme has graduated teachers, lawyers, medical doctors, and engineers to mention just a few.
Eligibility
To be considered you will need to comply with the following:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be age 35 or younger.
- Have made an application to a South African tertiary institution
Reside in the Northern Cape. This application is only open to the permanent residents of the Northern Cape and specifically the following municipalities:
- a. Siyathemba
- b. Renosterberg
- c. Emthanjeni.
How to Apply
Please ensure that all the requested documents accompany the application form. We have attached the application form at the bottom of this post.
All completed applications must be submitted electronically to applications@mulilo.com by 05 October 2024.
The application will not be considered if any requested documents are missing. This includes:
- Copy of your ID.
- Latest school report or matriculation certificate.
- Proof of application to a university, Technicon or TVET College.
- Motivation essay of at least one page in length.
All shortlisted applicants must be available for a telephonic interview. After the telephonic interview, applicants still under consideration will be required to participate in a face-to-face interview before the final bursaries for the 2025 academic year are awarded.
Successful applicants will be notified no later than 10 January 2025.
