Position: Health and Nutrition Research Intern
World Vision is currently seeking a Health and Nutrition Research Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship will provide you with invaluable experience in the field of public health and nutrition, allowing you to contribute to meaningful projects that impact the lives of those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Health and Nutrition Research Intern, you will:
- Assist in conducting research on health and nutrition programs.
- Analyze data and evaluate the effectiveness of various initiatives.
- Collaborate with various teams to create comprehensive reports.
- Participate in field visits and assist with community assessments.
- Support the development of educational materials on health and nutrition.
Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Public Health, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with statistical data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A demonstrated commitment to global health and nutrition issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Eligibility
All candidates must meet the following requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen/resident or F1-student visa) and have a valid US Social Security Number.
- Able to commit to at least 20 hours per week for the entire internship period: 27 January – 25 April.
- Current student or recent graduate from a graduate programme (within 2 years).
- Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.
- Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices.
Salary and Benefits:
