Current Opportunities
UNHCR is currently recruiting for a range of assistance positions, including:
- Protection Assistant
- As a Protection Assistant, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the rights of refugees and asylum seekers. This position involves working directly with clients to provide information, support, and advocacy, ensuring adherence to international protection standards.
- Field Assistant
- Field Assistants are vital to UNHCR’s operations in affected regions. In this role, you will support refugee camps and settlements, facilitating the delivery of essential services and collecting data to inform our programs.
- Community Services Assistant
- This role focuses on engaging with the local community and refugee populations to provide psychosocial support, empowerment initiatives, and programming that addresses specific community needs.
- Logistics Assistant
- As a Logistics Assistant, you will support the smooth operation of UNHCR’s supply chain and procurement processes. This role requires strong organizational skills to ensure that aid reaches those who need it most in a timely manner.
- Administrative Assistant
- Join our administrative team to ensure the effective functioning of UNHCR’s offices. Administrative Assistants play a key role in managing office logistics, supporting documentation, and coordinating communication among teams.
Senior Executive Support Assistant
The position of Senior Executive Support Assistant is located within a Division/Bureau or Office of the Representation/Head of Office. The role of this position is to provide administrative and secretarial support services to the Head of Office or immediate Supervisor, in order to ensure the smooth running of the Office and its flow and management of administrative and routinely information. This would involve direct contact with other staff members and contacts with the teams of high ranking officials, both within and outside UNHCR.
Subject to the nature of the task/assignment, the incumbent will work independently on routine tasks, while will follow instructions of the supervisor for more complex issues.
